  • We only did fitness tests in elementary school, the pe teachers would keep a tier list of who was the strongest in each test (also genders were separate). I was the strongest girl for sit ups and second girl for distance running (aka the paster test) .

  • I literally just did 52 push ups and I’m only 14 years old

  • I remember doing this in the 5th grade and doing sit-ups with those like “I’m better then you” girls hood ur feet down T-T

  • Our tests were like- Me: I did 30 push ups in 30 seconds My friend: Gurl those aren’t push ups. Your doing them completely wrong. Me: Them: Me:🥲

  • Me and my friends used to do the tests together (we used to hold eachothers feet or count the pushups) and we would just lie for eachother, saying that we did like 25 😅

  • Did they use the sit and reach thing wrong. They use the thing thats sticking up to track the stretch not the small edge

  • When I was a senior in high school I met the presidential criteria in every category, but now I don't think I can stretch like that anymore.

  • For our fitness test in year 9 one of the things we had to do was to see how many sit-ups we could complete in a minute, mine was 30

  • When I was in grade 9 gym, I really liked doing push-ups. I had to see how many I could do in a minute one day. I don't look strong, but I'm a stick. I did 103 in 60 seconds iirc.

    • And I can do like 1 pushup due to my shoulders slipping out of my sockets because I have hyperflexibility, then when I push back up I buckle from the pain

  • Ahh the memories of middle school PE😬 I'm only in 9th grade, but I moved to Spain at the end of 7th so I didn't have to do PE in 8th or 9th if I didn't want to. 😂 should have done it this year cuz it's not as bad. But they still make you run with makes sometimes 😂

  • I'm 6'3 280 lineman and can do about 33 in a row for push ups but can't do a pull up to save my life. Maybe 8 on a good good day.

  • i used to be able to do about 20-30 push ups. back in the day when i went to karate lol. now i cant really many cause i got a think in my arm that i used for dialysis called a fistula and it makes doing anything upper arm related in my left arm almost impossible im not supposed to lift over 8lbs with my left arm.

  • NAH. You guys didn’t do the Fitnessgram test. I’ll tell you 85% of kids who take these tests know the Fitnessgram pacer test script. And don’t forget the the push ups where you have to go up and down according to the audio. I recommend you try that to get the full effect

  • I have a genetic disorder that makes me too flexible (long story, concussion brought it out so I can’t even walk 100m without pain) but I used to grab the end of the sit n reach lol

  • THE FITNESSGRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTISTAGE AEROBIC FITNESS TEST...

  • The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

  • I can do about 0 push ups

  • Everyone except the real sporty types would do like 3 pushups and then be like whatever and stop.

  • I can barely do a push up. BUT my record is 100 situps with no breaks in between and 2 min plank

  • Shayne should try some military style PT. Most mornings in basic your morning workout consists of: 75 or more sit-ups, the same amount of push-ups, over 20 or so pull-ups, and a 3 mile run. And that's for both sexes, not just the males. I thought with as physical as Shayne looked, he could at least equal up to the same standards as young 18-24 year old in the service. I've known, and still know, many woman who could destroy him in a workout. But kudos, your as physically fit as my 7 year old son. Good job. :)

  • For my middle school weight class we had to do 40 pull ups a day plus the occasional push up tests where I averaged 52 so not to brag but I’m basically 2 toddlers

  • I literally couldn't do anything except for the stretch one

  • We had the option to either do pull ups or an arm hang, literally just seeing how long we could hang from the bar. My fat ass chose the arm hang. Our gym teacher counted me down and I almost immediately after I started my hang, he decided to turn away and start talking to the other gym teacher. I had been up there for at least 20 seconds or more. I got tired and decided to drop to the floor about a second after he started looking back. When I finished, he said "2 seconds" and made it official by marking it in his book. When I, and a few of the kids who were waiting in line, tried to tell him I'd been hanging there for over 20 seconds, he completely ignored me and told me to go to the next event.

  • There were military people who came to my high school to recruit us and they had a pull-up bar so the game was that you had to do either 50 pull-ups or you had to hold it for 2 minutes and if you tried and failed you got a sticker and if you succeed you got a t-shirt. Mind you I have the upper body strength of a mouse but my whole class was trying it so I was like “okay I’ll try it just for fun” but then this one girl who hated me for no reason made some snarky comment about me being weak just as I was pulling up to hold and I was so mad that I stayed up there the full 2minutes being fueled by anger and spite. I was the only girl to get that T-shirt and I wore it to class, but I also killed my arms doing it and they hurt like heck for like three days after. And I had to tell these army recruiters that I was barred from the military due to health reasons. 😂

  • As a 17 year old boy, I’m not that stretchy Also I can do about 40 push-ups, I haven’t done pull ups in a while but I think I can maybe do 10.

  • To be fair those are the EXPECTED numbers that gym teachers give the kids, many of us never made it there lmao

  • I don't know how many now, probably nowhere near as much as I did in middle school. In my last year of middle school, I did 99 pushups but failed on the 100th. It literally felt like an invisible force was keeping me in a 90 degree angle so that I would not finish the full 100 push ups. I face planted pretty hard when I fell lol, but at least the class was hype. Now, I will probably die at 20 or 15 lol.
